What basic services are provided by non-profit organizations?
Q. I'm trying to find out what basic services are provided by non-profit organizations. I know they all have their specific field, but there is a structure of sorts that all non profits will go through. I'm looking for a list of basic (and some not so basic) services they render, as well as a list of information detailing what the organization does through out the year. ie, look for sponsors 20% of the time, give away money or services 30% of the time, etc. Best answer will go to the person who is descriptive, detailed, knowlegable, and meets the requirements of the question. A. I am a volunteer co ordinator in a NFP organization and the basic services we provide are looking after people We have a management committee who run the organization It is their job to look after finding funding and the basics Our field is Public housing we are tenant run and tenant managed The treasurer looks for funding Secretary does the paperwork and myself and other vols look after the community centre We have a constitution which is rules and guidlines that we operate by the committee has 4 general meets a yr and 1 annual general meet Hope this helps in some small way

Electrical question...What size should service wires be for 2 one-hundred amp services in a two family house?
Q. I ask that becuase NEC code specifies wire size for services according to amperage for single and multifamily dwellings...but don't specify if you're suppose to add the amperage up if you have more than one service...or the wire size that will accomodate 100 amp service will still be sufficient with another 100 amp service.

A. this depends on whether both 100 amp services will use the same drop line or will have separate drop lines with separate weather heads...if both of them will be gang mounted with one service head then you will have to use 2/0 copper or 4/0 aluminum...if they are` both going to have there own weather head and services then you would only need 1/0 copper or 2/0 aluminum...plus grounds for both services...

How do Social Services get a child from one place to another?
Q. When a child is being transported from, say, a foster home to another foster home, or when the child's parents die and he's going to live with his grandparents, do Social Services drive the child there? What if it's a too long a distance? Would they fly the child? Main question: how does a child get transported to their new home if it's too far to drive?
