How do you change the port on your computer in which you connect headphones?
Q. I have to connect my headphones to the port at the back of the PC for them to work but i want to connect them to the port at the front. The front port does not work and i need to know how to change which port the computer recognises. The headphones used to work in the front port but don't anymore.

A. You must add some cord to make it works, contact professional for it, because it may need to modify something in soundcard

How to find port number on a macbook?
Q. Hi. I recently downloaded an application on my iPhone called the Remote Pad. This allows for me to use my phone as a mouse cursor on my macbook. It requires an ip address and a port number. How do I find the port number? I've found the ip address, but has been looking all over the internet on how to find the port number. Help? thanks so much! :)

A. There seems to be a A LOT of reviews for the application with the same problem. No one seems to describe a solution though. If you sync your iPhone to your computer, will iTunes fix that issue for you? Or maybe try and install it again using iTunes (while the phone is connected to your computer). Maybe that will auto-configure it properly for you. You may have already done this, but just incase you downloaded it using WiFi or such and not your computer, I thought I'd throw it out there. You should also consider just getting Air Mouse instead. I think its the same thing and might be easier to configure for you. Not quite a great solution, but if this App is just not going to play nice... EDIT: Just found this on the company web… [cont.]

What does bad charging port mean on a phone?
Q. I want to buy a Cingular 8125 phone on Ebay, but on the description it says it has a bad charging port? What does that mean? Does it mean it's charger does not work? Or the actual charging part on the phone? What can I do to fix it? Thanks, answers are greatly appreciated!

A. Yes, the part that charges the phone battery is defective. If you do not wish to attempt to repair it or have others do so you should pass it up. To use it you would have to change between batteries to keep going. This one's for geeks with lots of patience to fix or strip to fix another. The fact that the price may be really won't help you, and it may be cheaper to get a new phone or upgrade to get a better one. A lot of Cingular branded phones may be on the market right now. the reasoning is that AT@T recently merged with the phone company that they spun off Cingular to. Now Cingular is actually AT&T again, just as it was to start with years ago, ironically enough. There isn't much of a reason to buy on other than to use if you need… [cont.]
