A. Because of the food chain -- the food directly treated is eaten by a small animal, stored and accumulates in that animal, and then that small animal is eaten by a bigger. And so on. DDT and such insecticides accumulate in fatty tissue. * * * Off topic, but socially necessary it seems: DDT is needed, it saves lives. Where is it needed? In hotels and spot use to kill bed bugs. Bed bugs have become a huge problem is recent years and no treatment is anywhere near as good as DDT. A. They are exporting more than they are importing, and the difference is automatically added to reserves. Reserves are like savings essentially - if you get more money than you spend on the international market, you save.

What do you do with the accumulation of brand name clothes? Will they sell well 2nd hand?
Q. I am now 21 and have been the same size since 15. My closet is overflowing as I keep buying clothes and never get rid of my old ones as I can still fit them. I would really have a hard time parting with them as I spent a lot on them. I keep thinking that I will wear it someday but I never do. The brands in my closet are mostly guess, guess kids, esprit kids, abercrombie, abercrombie kids, hollister, limited too, gap. Sizes are 12-16kids, 1-5 juniors and women. Would anyone buy them for a decent price? What do you ppl do with clothes that still fit you but you just don't wear anymore?
