I'm working on a media project and I'm trying to answer this question myself. Input from other people would be greatly appreciated. Asked by roger.foxtrot - Thu Oct 30 17:32:11 2008 - - 1 Answers - 0 Comments A. The Press are capitalists supporting a system based on exploitation (i.e. unfair usury) (all those who only want to make a profit - even if it is from somebodies Else's misery). Profits come from advertising and sales of newspapers... run a story that would expose the hypocrisy - behind the system i.e. mention a story about the good work squatters do to help homeless unfortunates, or animal rights activists - about how they wish to stop animals being tortured cruelly for no valid reason in labs, or about what freedom fighters really want... and you watch how the Press clams up... Answered by jillionsing - Thu Oct 30 17:52:11 2008 Why does American news media on both sides have to be so absurdly biased? Q. As an outside impartial observer (im from Ireland) it seems crazy to me. Rachael Maddow of MNSBC said that FOX drummed up the Shirley Sherrod and Black Panthers controversy because they want whites to be scared of black people. That is a disgrace, obviously FOX is a conservative network but how can that woman get away with that statement. Are their any news network in America that doesnt take sides? Asked by Edward Carey - Fri Jul 23 20:22:29 2010 - - 7 Answers - 0 Comments Why does the News Media keep quoting anti-Obama Propagandists on the internet?
Q. The right wing has been pushing Obama-hate for months and the media hasn't picked up on the fact that it is being used. There are multiple posts by thousands of people who are working for one goal, to upset the elections. Why can't they stop looking for the easy story on the internet? Asked by JazzMan - Sun Apr 13 18:08:36 2008 - - 2 Answers - 0 Comments A. because there's nothing else to do. this is not an 'issue' election. meaning it's difficult to attack his political positions because they are also held by the majority of americans. so one must attack his character instead. same thing they tried with bill clinton in '96. the lowest form of debate is personal attack. but everyone knows it's also the most effective.
